This comprehensive workshop is your opportunity to explore the vast possibilities of AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) in enhancing your ministry’s reach and depth. With a mix of pre-recorded sessions and live interactions, as well as a private group communications Slack channel for continued growth and communication with your other workshop participants, you’ll be able to network and grow as a group.
Prerequisites:
As this is an advanced workshop, we suggest familiarity with LLM technologies and platforms like ChatGPT, Claud, Anthropic, etc. You can either learn from our “Harnessing AI for Church Excellence” series, or your own online sources as long as they help you gain a foundation of the basics of LLM and generative technologies.

Session 1 – Advanced Prompting and Personal Productivity – May 7 (Pre-Recorded)
Dive into sophisticated AI prompting techniques and personal productivity tools for ministry enhancement.
Session 1 Homework due May 13.
Session 2 – Strategic AI Integration & Ethical Frameworks – May 14 (Pre-Recorded)
Focus on strategic AI integration, ethical considerations, and guideline development in ministry. Topics include practical AI application, the importance of ethics in AI, and creating ministry-specific AI guidelines.
Session 2 Homework due May 20.
Session 3 – AI for Ministry Tasks Live Session – May 21 at 11am CDT

Explore AI-driven brainstorming and content generation. Homework due May 27.
Session 4 – Implementing Your AI Project Live Session – May 23 at 11am CDT (recording will be posted for any who can’t make that time)
Gain insights into practical AI implementation and project initiation.
Pilot Project Due – June 7
Your AI Pilot Project will be posted in the Slack Channel for your instructors and classmates to see. June 11th instructors Scott and Blake will record their exploration, feedback and insights on the pilot project highlights
